Apple introduces new slim MagSafe battery bank for iPhone Air

At today’s ‘Awe dropping’ iPhone 17 launch event, Apple unveiled a new MagSafe battery for iPhone. It’s optimized for iPhone Air, bringing more battery life to Apple’s ultra-thin iPhone model without compromising too much on bulk.

Apple says this new MagSafe Battery will add a total of 65% of additional charge to your iPhone Air, “extending battery life further than that of any other iPhone.”

It only supports 12W of fast charging to your iPhone Air, though it has an intelligent battery system to choose when it makes most sense to utilize the battery bank.

The price will likely confirm that third party offers from the likes of Anker will give you at least just as good performance for way less price.

Additionally, if you have the battery bank connected to a 20W power adapter, you can charge your iPhone Air even faster. To put a cherry on top, you can use the USB-C port to charge other accessories via cable.
