Apple TV+ unveils trailer for new sci-fi show from Breaking Bad creator

Apple TV+ has a packed fall lineup, and one of its most anticipated debuts—Pluribus—is a cryptic new sci-fi drama series from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan. Today the first trailer for Pluribus arrived, offering a glimpse at what to expect.

New Pluribus trailer gives off Severance vibes ahead of Apple TV+ debut

If you’re a fan of Severance, Pluribus might just be your next must-watch.

The new show from Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It reunites Gilligan with the latter series’ star, Rhea Seehorn.

Seehorn plays ‘Carol,’ a character described as “the most miserable person on Earth [who] must save the world from happiness.”

Pluribus will premiere Friday, November 7 on Apple TV+ with its first two episodes, followed by weekly releases through December 26.

Apple previously released a handful of very short teasers as part of its unconventional marketing campaign, but this is the first proper look we’ve gotten at what to expect from Pluribus.

The series is described by Apple as a sci-fi drama, but also a “genre-bending original.”

This first trailer, combined with the cryptic marketing, brings a lot of echos of Severance—Apple’s biggest hit series to date.
