New high-end AirPods Pro are launching this year, here’s the rumored price

Apple devices with a ‘Pro’ designation offer more features at a higher cost, and that’s exactly what’s expected with this year’s higher-end AirPods Pro 3 model that’s coming. Here’s the rumored price.

High-end AirPods Pro 3 model expected to cost near $299

Rumors indicate Apple plans to expand its AirPods lineup with a new, higher-end version of AirPods Pro 3 this year. The main upgrade coming is IR (infrared) cameras designed to support new Apple Intelligence features.

Likely the forthcoming new Siri will be a key part of the AI experience. If cameras enable users to ask Siri about anything they’re seeing, entirely hands-free, that could be a killer feature.

Leaker Instant Digital, shortly before AirPods Pro 3 first launched, detailed Apple’s plans to launch two different models—one with and one without cameras.

And he even outlined the expected price of the new model.

Per Instant Digital, AirPods Pro 3 with cameras will be “priced at over 2000 yuan.” Currently that equals around $286 in US currency.

Since he said it will be “over” that price, we could be looking at close to a $299 price point—a full $50 more than the standard AirPods Pro 3.

Already, Apple sells two versions of AirPods 4 at different price points. The entry model without ANC is $129, while the upgraded ANC model is $179.

It sounds like Apple might keep that same $50 price gap between its two AirPods Pro 3 models as well.
