Apple TV debuts The Last Thing He Told Me season 2 official trailer

After confirming that The Last Thing He Told Me would return on February 20 for an eight-episode run, Apple TV revealed the official season 2 trailer today. Watch it below.

The Last Thing He Told Me will return on Friday, February 20, with weekly episodes running through April 10.

While the first season was based on “The Last Thing He Told Me” by author Laura Dave, the new season will be based on the recently released sequel “The First Time I Saw Him”, both of which made it onto the New York Times bestseller list.

The Last Thing He Told Me stars Jennifer Garner (Alias, Daredevil) as Hannah Hall, a stepmother navigating family secrets and unexpected revelations. Garner also serves as executive producer.

Apple says that new and returning cast members include Michael Galante (The Haves and the Have Nots), Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Judy Greer (Jurassic World), and Rita Wilson (Sleepless in Seattle).

Trailer for season 2 contains spoilers for season 1

But if you’re up to date and want to know what to expect, here’s Apple’s synopsis which, again, contains spoilers for season 1:

In season two of “The Last Thing He Told Me” Owen (Coster-Waldau) shows up after five years on the run, Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them.
