Tim Cook attends VIP White House screening of ‘Melania’ documentary

Apple CEO Tim Cook spent his weekend attending the premier of Melania, the new Amazon-backed film that follows Melania Trump in the lead up to Donald Trump’s second inauguration.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Cook attended the event alongside other tech CEOs, including Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan, AMD CEO Lisa Su, and more.

This is just one of countless examples of what Cook is willing to do to stay on the good side of Trump. Previous endeavors include gifting Trump a piece of glass, helping fund the demolition of the East Wing, and donating $1 million to Trump’s inauguration.

In a picture posted to Melania Trump’s social media (above), Cook can be seen in the second row. Perhaps another million would’ve earned him a front-row seat.

Tim Cook also followed Trump to Davos last week, where he earned a shoutout from the man himself: “He’s great, he’s done some job. I don’t know how many have done better than Tim, but some are right up there with you. You’d better get your ass moving, I’ll tell you.”

Below is Tim Cook with Melania director Brett Ratner, who proudly posted the image to his Instagram story. Ratner has been accused of sexual assault by at least six women. As noted by Marlow Stern on social media, Olivia Munn is among Ratner’s alleged victims and stars in the Apple TV show Your Friends and Neighbors.

Hypothetically, if Amazon hadn’t ponied up $40 million to fund Melania, would Apple have done so?
