Apple released iOS 26.5iPadOS 26.5macOS 26.5, watchOS 26.5, and more today. In addition to new features, the updates also include security fixes, including for over 50 vulnerabilities in iOS 26.5 alone. Here are the details.

The iOS 26.5 notes alone mention 50+ security vulnerabilities that have been fixed in the new update.

So if the latest iPhone features don’t excite you, it’s still worth updating your device for all of the security fixes.

Beyond its 26.5 lineup, Apple also released a variety of new software updates for older OS versions. You’ll find security notes for those releases below:

With the exception of iOS 18.7.9, the other older iOS and iPadOS releases all include just one security improvement. It’s the notification fix that first shipped in iOS 26.4.2 last month, it ensures that deleted notifications can’t be recovered.
