Apple has released new betas today for its next major software updates, with developer beta 3 rolling out for iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, visionOS 27, and more.
Developer beta 3 arrives for iPadOS 27 and more
New betas are dropping now for Apple’s forthcoming new software versions.
Alongside iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate, Apple is rolling out beta 3 updates for iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, visionOS 27, and more.
Currently, only a developer beta is available. However, Apple has confirmed that public betas will arrive during the month of July.
Based on previous patterns, we could see the first public betas for iOS 27 and more debut next week.
As for what to expect in today’s releases, testers might encounter a variety of new bugs—hopefully alongside some new features—in beta 3.
Historically, beta 3 tends to be the first release where we see changes implemented based on early testers’ feedback. So if there were any big issues or controversial designs in beta 1, they might have changed in today’s updates.
Here’s hoping iPadOS 27, tvOS 27, and the other beta 3 updates are still relatively stable, like previous betas have been. But as with all pre-release software, you never know what might break from one beta to the next.
