OpenAI’s system status page confirms that some users are encountering elevated error rates when trying to use ChatGPT and Codex. Here are the details.

According to OpenAI’s system status page, an issue is currently affecting some ChatGPT and Codex users.

The company lists the incident as follows:

OpenAI says it applied a mitigation around two hours ago and is now monitoring the recovery.

Reports on DownDetector seem to be trending down after registering sharp spikes over the past few hours, but users on X still report the issue as ongoing.
