Apple Watch ‘National Fitness Day’ challenge returns this weekend

Apple Watch users in China can participate in the next National Fitness Day challenge this weekend to unlock virtual rewards.

Completing the Apple Watch challenge will require completing a 20 minute workout on Saturday, August 8, per the upcoming alert about the fitness challenge:

Earn this award by logging any workout of at least 20 minutes on August 8. Use the Workout app or any app that records workouts to Health.

The event is exclusive to China, however, as it marks the nation’s National Fitness Day each year.

Completing the challenge unlocks four animated stickers on iOS alongside a virtual medal inside the Fitness app.

Apple regularly holds activity challenges around the world to encourage Apple Watch users to experience different workouts.

The latest Apple Watch Series 11 is currently available from $299.
