Apple Pencil for handwritten notes, sketches, more
iPhone Duo is the first iPhone that will offer support for Apple Pencil, letting you jot handwritten notes, doodles, and more.
Apple Pencil will be supported on iPhone Duo later this year via a software update. But when support comes, Apple says it will require an Apple Pencil (USB-C). No other Pencil models are compatible.
iPhone Duo will let you use Apple Pencil both on its outer and inner displays. The design of Apple’s first foldable was even inspired by the proportions of a standard A-series paper notebook.

Power adapter for fast charging iPhone Duo
iPhone Duo supports fast charging, letting you charge up to 50 percent in just 20 minutes.
But in order to get the fastest charging speeds, you’ll need the right power adapter.
Apple’s 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max supports iPhone Duo fast charging, and a great third-party alternative is Anker’s 100W power brick.
Like other models, iPhone Duo doesn’t come with a power adapter in the box—only a USB-C cable. Most of us have 20W chargers lying around, but if you want to get a power adapter that supports the quickest iPhone Duo charging, these two products are my recommendations.

MagSafe Car Mount for when you’re on the go
One of my top iPhone accessory recommendations is ESR’s MagSafe Car Mount. I’ve used it for years, and it should prove a great accessory for iPhone Duo too.
With a MagSafe car mount, your iPhone has a secure place to stay while on the go. MagSafe provides a strong magnetic attachment, and you can clip the mount to your A/C vent so it’s made visible and easy to reach as needed.
I like combining my iPhone with CarPlay when driving, so that in Apple Maps I can get the navigation map on my in-vehicle CarPlay screen while the iPhone shows my full step-by-step directions. I expect this to be even better with the iPhone Duo’s large screen.

iPhone Duo cases
Apple isn’t yet selling its new $129 iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand. But if you’re looking to buy a far more affordable iPhone Duo case, there are plenty of third-party options already available.
Buying an iPhone Duo case not only gets you ready for October 23, it’s also a nice way to preview the size and shape of the iPhone Duo before committing $1,999 or more.

Home cameras for iPhone Duo StandBy mode
iPhone Duo will include a powerful upgrade to the current iPhone StandBy feature. When iPhone Duo is in “standing” mode, it can display a variety of StandBy views even when it’s not charging.
Those StandBy options include ‘Home Camera’ and ‘Home Modular’ views, both of which provide access to smart home accessories.
The Home Camera view should be especially useful for keeping track of security cameras throughout your home at a glance. Here are my recommended HomeKit-compatible cameras.

- eufy 4K security camera: For 4K support, it’s not much pricier at just $59
