This is Apple Music’s new logo, probably

Apple Music seems to be rolling out a new logo, as spotted in several places including iOS 27 beta 3.

New Apple Music logo uses bolder font, lowercase styling

When Apple announced the opening of Apple Music Hall last month, it showcased a new logo not seen before.

You can see the new logo on the venue’s official website here, with a light version in the header and dark version in the footer.

At the time though, it was unclear whether the logo would remain exclusive to the venue branding. Its bold typeface matches that of Apple Music Hall’s overall look.

Since then, however, Apple has used the new logo in Instagram Reels that are unrelated to Apple Music Hall. And now today, Aaron Perris found evidence of it in iOS 27.2 beta 3.

The official Apple Music website still has the old look, but if we learned anything from Apple’s very slow transition from Apple TV+ to Apple TV last year, it’s that the company can take its time with rebrands.

A name change is a much bigger undertaking than a new logo, but it’s understandable that Apple might take a similar approach to rolling out the redesigned Apple Music logo.

Apple Music is available for $11.99/month, or you can get it as part of the Apple One bundle.
