iCloud+ keeps getting better, here’s what’s new for subscribers

iCloud+ is best known for adding iCloud storage, but Apple keeps improving and expanding its suite of benefits for subscribers. Here’s everything new for iCloud+ added in the last few weeks.

iCloud+ additions include HomeKit Secure Video upgrades, free Apple TV and Arcade for many, higher AI usage limits, more

If you subscribe to iCloud+ or Apple One, you’re probably getting more benefits than you realize.

Beyond extra storage, iCloud+ includes features like Hide My Email, iCloud Private Relay, full Apple Invites access, and more.

Here’s everything new for iCloud+ subscribers added in the last few weeks:

• HomeKit Secure Video upgrades: Ahead of new Home products launching this week, Apple has upgraded HomeKit Secure Video in several ways. iOS 27’s powerful new features include 4K support, generated video descriptions, clip searching, and noteworthy clips.
• Custom Email Domain: If you run a small business or want to use custom emails for your family or for any other reason, iCloud+ lets you set up personalized addresses for domains you own. You were previously limited to three personalized email addresses, but now you can create up to 10 per domain.
• Apple TV and Arcade added in 100+ countries: It doesn’t apply to the US, but iCloud+ subscribers in more than 100 countries now get Apple TV and Arcade thrown in at no additional cost. It’s a huge upgrade for many users that makes the service more of a no-brainer in supported territories.
• Higher AI usage limits in iOS 27: Specifics are still unclear, but when Apple unveiled iOS 27, it said select iCloud+ plans would include higher usage limits for AI features. We haven’t yet seen evidence of Apple restricting access to AI features, but affected features include Siri AI, new Photos editing tools, Image Playground, and more.

All of these improvements have been added with no price change for subscribers.
