Apple now selling repair parts for iPhone 18 Pro, latest Mac Studio and Mac mini models

Apple today began selling repair parts for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as well as the M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio and the M6 or M5 Pro Mac mini models. Here are the details.

Parts and tools now available for new iPhones and Macs

Apple launched its Self Service Repair program in 2022, allowing users in eligible regions to purchase replacement parts and buy or rent the tools needed to perform their own repairs on supported devices.

Additionally, Apple offers official repair manuals for several products, with detailed, step-by-step instructions on the replacement procedures for each serviceable part or component.

Today, Apple expanded the Self Service Repair Store to include replacement parts and tools for several recently released devices. The update comes on the same day that Apple announced new and expanded partnerships with US suppliers producing components for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo.

For iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max owners, this means they can now purchase replacement parts and tools for the following components:

  • Back glass
  • Battery
  • Bottom speaker
  • Camera
  • Display
  • Enclosure
  • Front camera
  • Logic board
  • Main microphone
  • Other parts
  • SIM tray
  • Taptic Engine
  • Top speaker

Selecting a category brings up the available replacement parts, along with tools and other supplies needed for the procedure, such as adhesive cutters, suction cups, nylon probes, adhesive removal tools, torque drivers, and screws. These items can also be purchased separately.

For those who are curious, the replacement camera costs $249, unchanged from last year’s models, despite the addition of a new variable-aperture system to the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Apple also offers a $59.76 credit for returning the original camera, bringing the effective cost down to $189.24.

For the Mac Studio (M5 Max and M5 Ultra), Apple now offers replacement parts for everything from Thunderbolt and USB-C ports to fans, speakers, SSD modules, logic boards, and power supplies.

The Mac mini (M6 and M5 Pro) has a somewhat shorter list, covering components such as fans, speakers, logic boards, batteries, and power supplies, among others.
