Anthropic adding voice mode to Claude Code in gradual rollout

Vibe coding is becoming voice coding with Anthropic’s latest Claude Code feature rollout.

Starting today, Anthropic is rolling out voice mode as a feature of Claude Code.

Voice mode is activated within Claude Code by holding the space bar to talk, then releasing to send off the input.

Anthropic is starting the gradual rollout with around 5% of users having access. The company says voice mode isn’t extra to use and will be available for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise users as it rolls out to more users.

Earlier this week, Anthropic boosted Claude by enabling memory import while making the feature free for all users. Claude also became the top downloaded iPhone app over the weekend, climbing from 42nd place just two months into the year.

Apple recently embraced Anthropic’s Claude by allowing Claude Agent to integrate with Xcode.
