Apple releases beta 4 for iPadOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, and more

Apple has released new beta software updates today, including developer beta 4 for iPadOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, and more. Update: Public betas have now rolled out too, hitting several hours after the developer releases.

iPadOS 26.4 beta 4 and more rolling out now

Today Apple has extended its recent streak of weekly 26.4 beta updates.

Though historically many beta cycles include two-week gaps between updates, so far the company has shipped new 26.4 betas every single week since the first pre-release version debuted last month.

Last week some updates even got two releases, as iOS 26.4, iPadOS 26.4, and watchOS 26.4 received two distinct versions of beta 3. Presumably, some bugs appeared in the first releases that Apple wanted to waste no time fixing.

Now the official beta 4 updates have been released.

Rolling out today are beta 4 versions of Apple’s full 26.4 software lineup, including iPadOS 26.4, tvOS 26.4, visionOS 26.4, and more.

We’ll keep you posted on anything new discovered in these updates.

Currently, Apple’s 26.4 software lineup is expected to launch publicly within the next few weeks, with late March the most likely release window.
