Apple’s marketing efforts have been on a tear lately. While the MacBook Neo campaign has been getting most of the attention, a new spring campaign in Japan has been promoting the App Store with fun commissioned ads. Watch them below.
’Take the next step with the App Store’
As spotted by Creative Blog (via AppleInsider), Apple Japan’s YouTube channel has published a new spring campaign made up of three videos promoting the App Store through artwork commissioned from 13 local artists.
In each video, after the user taps the App Store logo, the camera zooms into a colorful sequence of animations that showcases a variety of apps, each in its own visual style.
As part of the campaign, Apple has also published a featured story on the Japanese App Store promoting the “new life” season, inviting users to rely on the apps available on the App Store as they embark on something new:
The new life season of 2026 has arrived. Whether you’re starting school, moving up a grade, becoming a new member of the workforce, or beginning life in a new city, everyone taking a new step is the star of this season. Whether you’re starting something new, taking what you’re already doing to the next level, or pausing to recharge, let’s keep moving toward our goals.
This new life season, App Store editors are highlighting carefully selected apps and games tailored to the next step you want to take, while also spotlighting people making progress in different fields.
Among the promoted apps are Pokémon Sleep, Goodnotes, Royal Kingdom, Procreate Pocket, LINE, CapCut, and ChatGPT.
