Deals: 1TB M5 MacBook Air $150 off, AirPods Max 2 up to $86 off, Apple Pencil Pro, Milanese Loop, more

Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is headlined by Apple’s least pricey 1TB M5 MacBook Air sitting at Amazon all-time low pricing ($150 off all colors) alongside ongoing holiday pricing on AirPods Pro 3 and Apple Watch Series 11 at $100 off. We also have a chance to land Apple Pencil Pro at one of the best prices to date and AirPods Max 2 at up to $86 off (Best Buy ‘Excellent’ open-box). Those offers join Apple’s Slate 46mm Milanese Loop at the Amazon all-time low and Anker’s 2026 Earth Day charger deals up to 40% off. Head below for a closer look.

AirPods Pro 3 are back at one of the lowest prices to date if you need a spring Apple buds refresh

Apple’s least pricey 1TB M5 MacBook Air is sitting at Amazon all-time low pricing ($150 off all colors)

While there are a series of internal upgrades on the new MacBook Air, not the least of which the M5 chip, but Apple also upped the storage tiers this time around. While this, in part, did raise the entry price to the lineup, it also means that landing a new M5 MacBook Air with 1TB of storage is actually more affordable than it was last generation. And you can now land the most affordable 1TB M5 MacBook Air Apple makes at $150 off the list price from Apple.

Amazon is currently, as you perhaps already know, offering sizable price drops across the MacBook Air lineup with deals starting from $949. But we wanted to highlighting the most affordable 1TB model you can buy while you can land the 13-inch model down at $1,149 in all colorways. That $150 off the regular $1,299 list price and the lowest price we have tracked thus far on this configuration.

Again the price of the M5 MacBook Air starts higher than the previous M4 model, but considering storage upgrades at Apple can run anywhere from $200 to $400 at this point, the 1TB model we are featuring here effectively comes in lower than the most affordable 1TB M4 model did.

While I typically tend to favor RAM over storage when it comes to MacBook upgrades, we are quickly moving towards a world where 1TB will be the new minimum. Apple has already taken this step on the MacBook Pro lineup, and already ditched the old 256GB config from the Air slate. I still prefer the RAM over the storage, but I am admittedly starting to think twice about 512GB configs at this point.

Either way, there are still deals across the entire lineup if you’re on the fence – check them out below:

Land Apple Pencil Pro at one of the best prices to date, now $71 (Up to 45% off, Best Buy open-box)

Best Buy is once again giving folks a shot at one of the better prices to date on the latest Apple Pencil Pro today. Now within a couple bucks of our previous mention, you’ll now find the flagship iPad writer down as low as $70.99 shipped there. Details below.

Best Buy is now offering “excellent” condition open-box Apple Pencil Pro units down at $70.99 shipped. This lands within $2 of our previous mention to land among the lowest prices we have tracked for one in this condition from a reputable dealer.

  • Geek Squad Verified
  • Works and looks like new. Restored to factory settings.
  • Includes all parts and accessories. Packaging may vary or be absent.
  • 1-year Apple warranty

Apple Pencil Pro carries a $129 list price, but considering how often it is just sitting down at $99, the MSRP is more or less inconsequential at this point. That said, it almost never drops below $99.

Best Buy is advertising new units “on sale” at $99 right now as part of its Ultimate Upgrade Sale, but that’s clearly not a deal at all considering it has been listed at $99 more often than not for the better part of a year and half now at Amazon

All of this is to say, anything in the $70 range is a solid price and these open-box offers at Best Buy have been the best and most reliable way to land one of the pro iPad pencils at under $80.

Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with all of these iPad models (iPadOS 17.5 or later):

  • iPad Pro 13-inch (M4 and M5)
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (M4 and M5)
  • iPad Air 13-inch (M2, M3, and M4)
  • iPad Air 11-inch (M2, M3, and M4)
  • iPad mini (A17 Pro)

AirPods Max 2 are up to $86 off right now at Best Buy (‘Excellent’ open-box)

There are some light discounts on the brand new AirPods Max 2 on Amazon and you can still flip the older Lightning set at trade to score $130 off the new set, but there are also some notable open-box offers on Apple’s latest over-ears. You can score set at up to $86 off right now. Details below.

Here’s how the “excellent” condition open-box deal pricing breaks down at Best Buy right now across each of the five colors on the new AirPods Max 2:

That’s up to $86 off the $549 list price and, while still quite an investment, this is the lowest price we have tracked from a reputable dealer without leveraging a trade.

As mentioned above, Amazon does have select colors in brand new condition down at $530 right now, but if you have an older Lightning set of AirPods Max, Best Buy will send you $130 in refund cash for them. This is effectively the best “deal” we have seen on the new AirPods Max since release last month.
