New Lady Gaga performance streaming this Thursday exclusively on Apple Music

Apple today announced that Apple Music subscribers will be able to stream a brand new Lady Gaga filmed live performance this Thursday, in which the artist performed tracks from her MAYHEM album.

In fact, at 8 AM Pacific Time on May 14, anyone can tune in for free (no subscription required) to watch the live stream premiere. After the fact, it will be available to watch on demand for Apple Music subscribers.

The Gaga concert was recorded earlier this year on January 14 at The Wiltern theater in Los Angeles. It is the latest Apple Music Live exclusive.

Described as an intimate reimagining of the MAYHEM album, Gaga spends much of the time at the piano or synths, singing rearrangements of hits including Abracadabra, Disease, and more tracks from the MAYHEM studio album.

Apple Music will host the video performance and a live album of all the songs mastered in Spatial Audio. To celebrate the launch, the film is also being screened in 15 AMC theaters across the United States at the same time.

Fans can also unlock some bonus content through the Shazam app. Just identify any Lada Gaga song using the app, to get access to special wallpapers and Apple Watch face configurations.
