visionOS 27 developer beta 1 rolling out now

Following the announcement of visionOS 27 earlier today during the WWDC26 keynote, Apple has released the first developer beta of the system. Here are the details.

visionOS 27 beta 1 now available

Apple announced visionOS 27 today, alongside iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27.

visionOS 27 introduces the Siri AI app, Visual Intelligence features, and under-the-hood improvements for system and reliability.

As expected, Apple is now rolling out the first wave of developer betas for the systems announced during the WWDC26 keynote, including visionOS 27.

Apple hasn’t published the full release notes yet, but they’ll be available here.

If you want to enroll in the developer beta program for Apple Vision Pro, here’s what you’ve got to do:

  1. Back up your Apple Vision Pro
  2. Open the Settings app
  3. Choose “General”
  4. Choose “Software Update”
  5. Select “Beta Updates”
  6. Select “visionOS Developer Beta”
