Apple TV has just added a large batch of 15 classic movies to its library, available free for subscribers. Here’s the full list.
Apple TV has 15 newly added classic movies available for streaming
Apple TV has long focused on original shows and movies, with very little licensed content in its catalog. But last month, Apple surprised us by adding a variety of classic movies like The Bourne Identity, E.T., The Rookie, and more.
Now today, Apple has a fresh lineup of 15 additional classic movies joining the service.
Here’s the full list of new titles:
- The Social Network
- War of the Worlds
- School of Rock
- Her
- Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
- Superbad
- Mamma Mia! The Movie
- Definitely, Maybe
- Easy A
- Master and Commander
- A League of Their Own
- Troy
- The Informant!
- Zero Dark Thirty
- The Wolf of Wall Street
Like last month’s movie drop, title availability may vary based on where you live. But the 15 above films are available for US viewers.
The only bad news is that Apple has also dropped many of the films that were streaming last month. A few holdovers have stuck around, but the majority are no longer available.
It’s unclear if these latest films will have similarly limited availability, so if there’s a title you want to watch, you may want to act fast.
September will bring more Apple original shows and movies too, here’s everything coming.
