Apple today revealed the first eight shows coming to its new Apple Music Hall in London, with Elton John set to kick things off next week. Here are the details.
Elton John to headline first Apple Music Hall show
Earlier this week, Apple unveiled the Apple Music Hall, a new concert venue in the famous Battersea Power Station in London, where the company also has an office and a store.
Apple Music Hall will hold up to 600 people, with performances also livestreamed globally through Apple Music. Artists will also walk away with a finished Spatial Audio recording, a broadcast-ready mix, and multicamera video.
When Apple first announced Apple Music Hall, the company said it would soon unveil the first artists set to perform at the venue.
Today, Apple confirmed the first eight shows, kicking off with Elton John next week. Here’s the full lineup:
- Elton John — September 28
- Baby Keem — October 2
- Skye Newman — October 7
- Troye Sivan — October 13
- Arlo Parks — October 22
- Burna Boy — October 29
- Chase & Status — November 26
- Charli xcx — December 2
Some of the artists also have a long history with Apple Music. Elton John, for instance, has hosted his weekly “Rocket Hour” radio show since Apple Music launched in 2015, while Charli xcx previously hosted five seasons of her own show, “The Candy Shop,” on Beats 1.
Back to the concerts, Apple says “tickets for Elton John, Baby Keem & Skye Newman will go on sale Monday 28th September at 9AM BST,” while “all remaining shows will go on sale at a later date.”
