This guy got paid to use Apple Pay at Whole Foods

It looks like Apple Pay has its perks. According to one Reddit user, he headed to Whole Foods today to use Apple Pay and was greeted with the lovely surprise of a $5 gift card for being one of the first customers to do so. This is likely just a local promotion and hasn’t been officially announced by Whole Foods, but it’s an interesting incentive nonetheless.

Updated my iPhone 6 and went straight to Whole Foods for lunch, worked perfectly! My card was linked without issue, setup was easy, looking forward to using it wherever I can! Whole Foods even gave me a $5 gift card for being one of the first users in the store!
