Here’s the first Severance season 2 trailer for Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has been having a fantastic fall, and there’s a lot more coming. But one of the most anticipated debuts is set for January, and now we get our first look at it. Here’s the new trailer for Severance season 2.

Season 2 trailer teases continued troubles at Lumon

Severance is returning to Apple TV+ after a nearly three year wait.

Season 2 of the popular and critically acclaimed series is set for January 17, 2025.

Apple will release the first episode that day, followed by weekly Friday releases up through March 21. There are 10 episodes total in season 2, one more than in the freshman season.

And today, we get the first extended look at season 2 through the just-released teaser trailer.

Unsurprisingly, Apple is being pretty secretive with the plot of season 2. The new trailer doesn’t reveal a ton, and the official written summary is pretty vague too:

In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.

Nevertheless, the first trailer makes clear that Severance will continue to strike the same dark, wacky, unique tone that helped season 1 make its mark.
