Apple officially renews sci-fi drama Silo for two more seasons to close out the story

Apple has officially renewed its hit sci-fi drama Silo for season three and season four, which will conclude the adaptation of the story based on the popular book series by Hugh Howey.

The show is currently in the midst of airing its second season on Apple TV+, so the official renewal news will be warmly received by its fans. Unofficially, filming for the third season commenced earlier this month.

Although not officially confirmed, we understand shooting for season three and season four is happening simultaneously. A planned release date schedule has not been revealed.

Apple has not yet shared viewership numbers for the second season, but last year said Silo had become its number one drama on its streaming platform.

Silo season two is airing new episodes weekly, through January 17.

Tim Cook shared the news of the renewal directly on Twitter earlier today. We are hearing he personally visited the UK set last week, showing his support for the production.
