If you have been paying any attention to the latest out of Cupertino for the last week, “September 21st, 8AM” is engraved in your mind. As the clock strikes 8 a.m. in countries in the east, Apple’s iPhone 5 has been going on sale. The first country to receive the iPhone was Australia. And the long line in Australia (image via Pablo):

Australia Apple stores 25 minutes into iPhone 5 sales. Next: Asia in 35 minutes, Hong Kong 1:35, Stockholm/Berlin/Rome 8:35, London 9:35.

Apparently Woz is #5 in line at Chermside (Brisbane, Australia) Apple store for iPhone 5, forsaking his usual spots around San Jose (Calif.)
