Last month, we noted that Apple’s re-constructed Austin, Texas campus is now fully operational. The campus brings the feeling of Cupertino to Texas, and it has state-of-the-art facilities for Apple support, engineering, and operations staff. Now, we’ve learned that Apple CEO Tim Cook and Senior VP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue visited the Austin campus today to celebrate the opening. Various photos of Cook at the campus have been posted online:
The top Apple executives, according to employees in attendance, spoke about a range of topics. The recent Beats Music and Beats Electronics acquisition received insight from Cook and Cue, while Cook explained why Angela Ahrendts was the best choice to lead Apple’s retail division. Cook also recapped some of the announcements discussed earlier this week at WWDC, and the duo (as they often do) teased “exciting” products in the pipeline.

Of COURSE they’re gonna call the upcoming spec-bumped iPhones & iPads “exciting”. What else are they gonna say?

***YAWN*** Sorry, your comment just bored me…
As if you know all the products in the pipeline. I’m sure you knew everything announced at WWDC too.
actually if you consider most of the ios 8 feature have been around for years on other platforms such as android thats not too far fetched.
@Joshua Who cares there are features that were in “your eyes” available somewhere else. If it’s a feature that is useful and exciting, then let people get excited about it. Stop posting comments trying to change it into some sort of fanboi war.
@Joshua – there were smartphones before iPhone as well. But iPhone changed the game. No matter what Samsung/etc-fans are telling me/you/us, iPhone changed the game. Ford was the first major car-producer. But if you have money, you’ll prefer Maserati or Mercedes, right? It’s not about who is first in something. It’s about who is good in something.
P.S. Every time there’s something “exciting” around Apple… love that ridiculous marketing/PR strategy haha. Fun to observe.
@Epic_Tea
I always get a good laugh when someone believes that features with a similar concept are actually the “same” or even “similar” across platforms.
Since you have such confidence over Apple’s lackluster product line you must be shorting their stock. Congrats making the big bucks. (You do put your money where your mouth is, right?)
So which company in your mind, exactly, has a more lustrous product line right now than Apple?

Is it a “iWatch” in his arm?
Fuelband.
Is there a video of it? Didn’t found one on youtube. Were cams forbidden?^^
Anyone else think that the outline profile of the item in Tim’s right hand pocket looks to have an unusual and unexpected shape, it appears substantially rounded at one end – not unlike a nexus phone?
(Before anyone starts bashing, I’m just saying that it’s an unusual profile, nothing more!)
Anyone else notice the potential “iWatch” on his wrist??
