Thanks for the podcast, guys. Really nice to chill and listen. Looking forward to the next one.
You will be able to charge and connect peripherals at the same time through and adapter and/or daisy chaining…
I don’t get what the Apple trolls really want… Everyone complained that Apple had proprietary, expensive cables for the longest time. Apple removes those in favour of a non-proprietary and arguably cheaper standard and everyone complains.
Apple got rid of the optical drive and everyone complained… at first. No one complains when they release something without an optical drive now. In five years no one will be surprised by only having one port.
Great podcast! 2nd one I’ve listened too and thoroughly enjoyed it.
While I’m posting this comment, I thought I’d mention at the same time (since it happened like 20mins ago) that my iPhone 5S running iOS 8.2 went flat at 4% (which is a first for my phone) and then constantly rebooted with not having enough charge in it, while being charged up. It is all working fine now but that’s probably one of the most frustrating experiences I have had using my phone. #NOTHAPPY
Also although it is only a minor issue, in iOS 8.2 the battery usage data, says the total time since it last went off the charger (at 100%) for usage and standby meaning it defeats the purpose of its existence.
Anyways back to the podcast, Apple did not do enough marketing/advertising/selling/convincing beyond what they had already announced in September 2014, to convince me to get an Apple Watch.
Especially for someone who owns a silver Lorus silver link watch that cost around AU$100 (on special I’ll admit) compared to the 38mm (same size) silver Apple Watch link bracelet for AU$1,399, is an absolute frickin joke (which I am aware there are 3rd party bands coming and the Kickstarter “Click” being adapters for your current bands to fit Apple Watch).
I will at a bare minimum wait until the 2nd generation (if I still use an iPhone on a daily basis) of which I expect to be at least 2 years away (unless sales are appalling) because of the Apple name in the product itself, like the Apple TV.
If you read all of this, thank you!
