Apple prepares the iPhone to 'excite'…and 'swap'

Patently Apple details two new product technologies that Apple is investigating for future iOS devices.  One called ‘Excite’ allows two devices to communicate with each other and create keys for securely communicating.  

Then, perhaps, once those two devices are in communication, Apple can let those devices ‘swap’ contacts, schedules and photos.
