Apple has just announced the pricing and availability for the new 12-inch Retina MacBook. This is the thinnest MacBook to date and offers “all day” battery life. This is the same MacBook we exclusively uncovered back in January and now it has been unveiled along with its pricing…

Apple’s new 12-inch Retina MacBook will start shipping on April 10 starting at $1,299 for the base model. This model includes 256GB of internal storage with a 1.1GHz low-power Intel Core M processor (turbo-charge up to 2.9GHz). The second model will come in at $1,599 with 512GB of storage and a 1.2GHz processor.

Depending on use, this MacBook’s battery life is said to range between 9 and 10 hours. It also has a resolution of 2304×1440 and a single USB-C port that will support everything via adapters including power, USB data, DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA.
