I’m not convinced it’s about existing Mac users buying the new accessories. I think it’s about updating the hardware for the new macs.
Of course they sell they separately but I doubt that’s a major parley of the strategy so to speak.
It’s a keyboard and mouse. There reallyIt isn’t much that’s interesting in it! I think they have done a sterling job of making a dull item look nice.
Shame about that eject button. Should be a power button for the mac itself.
I give up listening to these podcasts. The people talking sound like a bunch of Apple hater trolls. I can hear that anywhere else. If you are not Apple fans then maybe you should do a different podcast.
These podcast are an absolute hate fest. AppleInsider podcast is much more balanced. Its almost as if the people on this podcast are so jaded with Apple.
Innovation does not mean providing essentially the same product at twice the price. It is already a bit old listening to the whining from folks who see any criticism of Apple as hating or trolling. I was ready to purchase the new keyboard and trackpad, but not at twice the price. I bought the Logitech devices instead. Not sure how the purchaser of two MacBook Air’s, one MBPR and one new Mackbook (as well at two Thunderbolt displays, keyboards, mice, etc.) can be a hater, but oh well. I like their products, but I wish they would get real. I am slowly but surely getting out of the Apple business.
It was interesting hearing your thoughts on the magic keyboard. I wanted to let you know I highly recommend the Logitech K811. I’ve used the K810 (PC version) over the last few years at work everyday and it is absolutely fantastic. The keys are a dream (and backlit), it’s rechargeable, is super reliable and it has a similar footprint as the Apple. I’ve come to like it much more than the apple wireless keyboard I use at home. I’m for sure going to replace my Apple one with the K811.
Keep up the good work. Love the podcast!
