Job listings show up for Brooklyn Apple Store, suggesting opening later this year

A rendering of the expected look when renovations are complete

Apple’s first retail store in Brooklyn has been a long time coming. Following years of speculation, the plan was confirmed back in 2014, when it was revealed that the location would be at 247 Bedford Avenue, in Williamsburg, though the project later fell behind schedule.

Things now seem to be on track for an opening in later this year as MacRumors spotted retail job listings coming up in a search on Brooklyn.

Angela Ahrendts yesterday gave us a look at the company’s latest plans for its ongoing revamping of its retail stores as she previewed the upcoming flagship store in San Francisco’s Union Square. We also heard last week that the company is planning to open a new store at the historic Tower Theatre in LA.
