Win LG’s new 38-inch UltraWide USB-C monitor & a $10,000 workstation (Contest & Giveaway)

LG-UltraWide-38UC99

To help introduce the new 38-inch LG UltraWide USB-C monitor, we’re teaming up with LG this month on its Dream Canvas contest that will see it give away 15 of the new monitors – alongside a $10,000 workstation to one grand prize winner.

Since the new monitor and its huge 38-inch curved display is geared towards creators like the rest of LG’s UltraWide lineup, LG is calling on artists to submit wallpaper creations that will fit perfectly on the new 3840 x 1600 LG UltraWide display.

Here’s how it works:

The new 38-inch LG UltraWide monitor (38UC99) includes a curved 21:9 display with a 3840 x 1600 resolution, two 10W built-in Bluetooth compatible speakers, a wide color gamut covering 99% of the sRGB color space, and it’s the first of LG’s UltraWide monitors to include USB-C. That massive 38-inch display provides an incredible workspace for visual creators, and that’s exactly why LG is asking designers to come up with a wallpaper design for the contest.

To enter, all you need to do is create a 21:9 wallpaper and follow the steps below to submit it for judging.

During the contest, LG will give away 15 of the new 38-inch LG UltraWide USB-C monitor (38UC99), with the top prize of a $10,000 workstation going to one winner chosen in the final round.

How to enter:

-You can enter by tweeting your artwork on social media with the following hashtags #LGUltraWideFestival, #DreamCanvas2016, #38UC99 and submitting a link to the post at the contest’s website.

-15 finalists will be selected by LG’s judges on October 20th to win the new 38-inch LG UltraWide monitor.

-After the 15 finalists are picked, their art will then be showcased on the website and voted on by judges and by the number of downloads each get by the public.

-The final grand prize winner will be announced on November 23rd.

In addition to the $10,000 workstation for the top prize, the final winner will have their art featured on displays at LG’s CES booth in Las Vegas this January and various places on LG’s websites.

The submission period is from Sept. 21st to Oct. 4th. The 15 finalists will be announced Oct 20th and the final grand prize winner on November 23rd. Visit the contest website now for more info.

The new 38-inch LG UltraWide USB-C monitor is available now for $1499.
