Due 3.0 brings custom reminders, a pure black theme, and haptic feedback

Due is one of those apps that I can’t remember a time when it wasn’t available. If you are a fan of it, you’ll be excited to know that version 3 is now available. If you’ve never used Due, you’ll want to keep reading because it has a sweet spot in my workflow.

Due is a great secondary productivity app. It’s great if don’t want to clutter up your calendar or task app with mundane tasks. Here’s a good way to think about it: If you want to be reminded to drink 8 oz of water in three hours, but you don’t want that to be a repeating item in your task system, Due is the perfect spot to keep it. Due will keep reminding you until you mark it off.

New in version 3 of Due are custom snooze notifications (it used to be only preset ones), a pure black theme (looks great on iPhone X), and haptic feedback throughout the app.

Due 3.0 is a $2.99 in-app purchase for all users of Due 1.0 and 2.0. Existing users can upgrade the app as the binary remains the same. You’ll still receive bug fixes, support for new devices, etc. even if you don’t want to upgrade to the new features. New customers can purchase Due for $4.99 on the App Store. There is no additional in-app purchase required for users who buy Due from 3.0 onwards.
