As Apple’s special event in Brooklyn wraps up, the new products announced today are now available for pre-order through Apple’s online store. This includes the new iPad Pro, new MacBook Air, and Mac mini.
The new MacBook Air starts at $1199 and comes in space gray, silver, and gold. Various configuration updates are available, including upgrades to 16GB of RAM and more. Here’s how Apple describes the new MacBook Air:
The new thinner and lighter MacBook Air features a brilliant Retina display, the security and convenience of Touch ID, the latest‑generation keyboard, and a Force Touch trackpad. And with an enclosure made with 100 percent recycled aluminum, it’s the greenest Mac ever. MacBook Air is your perfectly portable, do‑it‑all notebook.
Also now available for pre-order is the new iPad Pro in both sizes. The 11-inch model starts at $799, while the 12.9-inch model starts at $999. The iPad Pro is available in silver and space gray with storage configurations starting at 64B up to 1TB.
Completely redesigned and packed with our most advanced technology, including an edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display, Face ID, and an A12X Bionic chip, and introducing the new Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio. It’s the biggest change to iPad since iPad.
Last but certainly not least is the new Mac mini, which starts at $799. The new Mac mini comes in space gray and offers notable performance upgrades compared to its aged predecessor.
Mac mini gets the update of a lifetime, with eighth‑generation 6‑core and quad‑core processors, high‑performance 2666MHz DDR4 memory up to 64GB, all‑flash storage up to 2TB SSD, Thunderbolt 3, HDMI 2.0, and available 10Gb Ethernet. This is massive.
