Friday’s best deals are here to wrap up the work week. Through the end of the day, you can score an all-time low on Apple’s latest AirPods 3 at $140 to go alongside a collection of official iPhone 15 silicone cases from just $15. Plus, the first discount on the Sonos Move 2 portable speaker with AirPlay 2 is live at $359. Hit the jump for all that and more in the latest 9to5Toys Lunch Break.
Apple’s latest AirPods 3 return to all-time low
Amazon now offers the latest Apple AirPods 3 for $140. Today’s offer drops from $169 in order to save you $29. It’s the first price cut in nearly 2 months and is only the second offer since Black Friday. This also matches the all-time low on this model with the Lightning-enabled charging case. Go learn more over in our coverage.
Apple’s latest entry-level earbuds originally launched back in October of 2021 and then were refreshed with a new wired-only charging case last fall that takes much of the same page out of the pro version’s playbook as before. While you’re ditching the silicone eartips, AirPods 3 arrive with much of the same Spatial Audio support, as well as added water-resistance for tagging along on runs or workouts. Circling back to the charging case, there’s no MagSafe charging on this model, with only a Lightning port on the bottom to refuel when you’ve worked through the 30 hours of listening time.
Apple’s official iPhone 15 silicone cases start from just $15
Amazon is now discounting an assortment of Apple’s official iPhone 15 Silicone MagSafe cases. Pricing across the lineup this time drops as low as $15. That’s down from $49 and like many of the other cases in the sale, is a new all-time low. We last saw only the Winter Blue and Orange Sorbet styles go on sale, but now six different colorways are ready to refresh the look and feel of your iPhone 15 for spring.
Apple’s official silicone cases are easily the company’s best first-party covers these days, delivering the same premium look and feel we’ve come to expect over the years. The savings today apply to quite a few different colors, each of which arrives with the expected soft-touch and grippy finish in tow. You’ll also find built-in magnets for taking full advantage of MagSafe charging, to go alongside a raised lip around the front and camera module for keeping your device scratch-free.
Sonos Move 2 portable speaker with AirPlay 2 sees first discount
We’re tracking the first discount on the new Sonos Move 2 speaker. Normally fetching $429, Amazon now has the portable smart speaker marked down to $359. This is a 16% discount and on top of just being the first-ever discount, is of course a new all-time low. While I gush below the fold about how much I love the Move 2 from my personal time with the speaker, our hands-on review covers everything you need to know.
If you’ve been waiting for a chance to save on the new Sonos Move 2, it’s here. The second-generation portable smart speaker makes the notable upgrade to deliver stero audio from just this single unit. I found it to make such a difference myself, which makes it just as good of a first entry point into the world of Sonos as it is for expanding the whole home audio of your current kit. Other features like AirPlay 2 support and Trueplay integration are just some of the other reasons I fell in love with the Move 2.
Nomad’s titanium and stainless steel Apple Watch bands start from $160
Nomad launched a 20% off sitewide spring sale earlier in the week, and now to end the week we’re circling back to highlight one of the better deals from the event. Nomad may be known for its leather accessories, but the company’s metal link Apple Watch bands are also some of the best on the market. They’re also on sale right now, too. Applying code SUPERSPRING2024 at checkout lets you bring home the Titanium Band for $240 shipped. Both 45mm and 41mm models are available at $60 below the usual $300 price tag. It’s a rare chance to save after a recent stock refresh, too.
Nomad’s Titanium Band is one of the more premium Apple Watch straps on the market, even going as far to give Apple’s own in-house option a run for its money. It’s made of a Grade 2 titanium material that comes covered in a diamond-like carbon coating for some extra durability. You get a choice of both black or natural designs to fit with many of the different Apple Watch Series 9 or Apple Watch Ultra case styles.
I personally loved the band back when I reviewed it at launch a few years back – an opinion I stand by today. In fact, it’s still my favorite premium band all these years later.
ecobee’s latest HomeKit SmartThermostats on sale
Amazon is now offering the ecobee SmartThermostat Premium for $219.99 shipped. This is down from the usual $250 price tag in order to save you $30. It’s the second-best price to date and is on sale for the first time since Black Friday – when it was also at this same price. We’ve seen it go for $7 less once before, but that was back in August during a 1-day sale. It’s still one of the first chances to save on the more recent flagship release, too. You can dive into our hands-on launch coverage for a better idea of what to expect.
ecobee’s latest smart thermostat arrives with an updated design that still stays true to what we’ve seen from the company in the past – putting a touchscreen display at the center of its form-factor to supplement the actual smart controls. This model works with Siri, Alexa, and Assistant and is perfect for keeping your home warm through the end of winter and comfortable all spring and summer long. It can be a smart speaker for Apple and Amazon setups, which lets you call up either voice assistant right from the thermostat, on top of using your smartphone. ecobee then rounds out the package by including not only a separate temperature sensor, but also an internal one for hyperlocal readings to automate your space.
