Since iOS 18 was released earlier this month, a smaller number of notable bugs and glitches have emerged. For example, there’s a problem in Messages that causes the app to crash repeatedly and can lead to data loss, as we were first to discover last week. Some iOS 18 and iPhone 16 users have also noticed touchscreen responsiveness issues, as we reported last week. iOS 18.0.1 fixes both of those issues.

Apple has also released iPadOS 18.0.1 with bug fixes. This update also means iPadOS 18 is once again available for the M4 iPad Pros, following reports the updated bricked some devices.

While iOS 18.0.1 will focus on bug fixes and other improvements, Apple is also working on iOS 18.1. This update will contain the first Apple Intelligence features and a number of other changes. Apple has confirmed that iOS 18.1 will be released sometime in October.

Have you noticed any bugs in iOS 18 since it was released last week? Are they fixed in today’s iOS 18.0.1 update? Let us know down in the comments.
