How to watch ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ for free this weekend on Apple TV

A few weeks ago, Apple announced its holiday plans for Apple TV, which kick off tomorrow with a free weekend streaming event for A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Here’s how to watch.

’Consider it Friendsgiving’

From time to time, Apple makes some of its Apple TV content available for free. This weekend, you’ll be able to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving even if you’re not an Apple TV subscriber.

Here’s the synopsis for the classic 25-minute-long animation first released in 1973:

Peppermint Patty invites everyone to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving, even though he’s going to see his grandmother. Snoopy decides to cook his own version of a Thanksgiving meal with help from his friends.

Apple and Peanuts Worldwide struck an exclusive partnership in 2020, making Apple TV “the home for all things ‘Peanuts,’” until at least 2030. Since then, Apple TV has combined classic Peanuts specials with new original content.

To watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving for free this weekend, all you need is an Apple Account to log into the Apple TV app. Apple will do the same for A Charlie Brown Christmas on December 13 and 14, and you can read about the rest of its holiday programming here.
