Deals: 512GB iPad Pro $450 off, 24GB M5 MacBook Pro $200 off, Apple Watch Ultra bands, more

Alongside the Black Friday pricing that is somehow still live on AirPods 4 with ANC down at $99, today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is kicking off with a giant $450 discount on Apple’s 512GB M4 iPad Pro at Amazon. We also have the most affordable 24GB M5 MacBook Pro you can buy down at $200 off the list price joined by some accessory deals – Apple’s 240W USB-C cable at $18, the new Crossbody Strap at nearly 30% off,  and a series of deals on Apple Watch Ultra bands. Scope it all out below.

Giant $450 price drop hits Apple’s 512GB M4 iPad Pro at Amazon today

While there are still some $100 price drops live across the new M5 iPad Pro lineup, we just spotted a particularly giant deal on the 512GB 13-inch M4 iPad Pro at nearly $450 off the list price courtesy of Amazon.

Amazon is now offering the 512GB 13-inch M4 iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cell model down at $1,249.97 shipped. This was a regularly $1,699 configuration before it was replaced by the new M5 model that is now nearly $450 off.

This giant discount is the lowest price we have ever tracked at Amazon on this configuration and the best we can find. Previous to today, this model had never dropped below $1,470 there.

This is indeed the always-connected cell variant that fetches a premium over the standard 512GB, but even that regularly $1,499 model has only dropped below $1,299 a couple times – it hit the $1,206 all-time low in silver last month.

For some, investing over $1,200 in a now previous-generation iPad is just not worth it, and that is perhaps understandable. But I think it’s safe to say these pro-grade Apple tablets are still quite a powerful and compelling solution and will remain as such for years – the M4 chip is still powering plenty of current-generation machines and the iPad Air lineup is still running the M3 at this point. It is also worth noting the comparable M5 machine is going to run you $1,440 without the cell connectivity and the full $1,699 with it right now.

This 24GB M5 MacBook Pro config is $400 less than the model Amazon sells ($200 off)

This morning we are checking back in with Apple’s new M5 MacBook Pro lineup. We are actually still tracking some deep discounts on the 16GB models at Amazon right now with $250 slashed from the list prices to land on par with the lowest price we have tracked, but we also wanted to shine some light on this 24GB configuration at B&H.

While not at the lowest price we have seen – there was a 1-day Black Friday flash sale, it is $200 off the list price and currently the best price we can find online for an M5 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM.

B&H is now offering the 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,599 shipped. This is a $1,799 configuration at $200 off the list price.

The only 24GB M5 machine Amazon carries is the model with a 1TB internal SSD that carries a regular list price at $1,999 and is currently on sale starting at $1,849. We did see this model down at the $1,749 all-time low for a brief time during the Black Friday festivities, but even at that price today’s deal on the 512GB model at B&H is a much lighter investment while still delivering the same M5 power and 24GB of RAM.

It of course has half the internal storage, but I know there are plenty of folks like me out there that would rather pay for the RAM over the internal storage on MacBooks and this B&H configuration you can’t get at Amazon is a great way to do just just. All told, it’s $250 under the current sale price on Amazon’s 24GB machine and $400 under the list price on that model.

iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB now $580 off orig. list price via Amazon Renewed Premium (Undercuts Black Friday price)

We detailed some notable chances to land a big-time price drop on iPhone 16 Pro Max (and other models) during Black Friday this year, and prices are now even lower on just about all color options – you can score a 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max at $580 off the list price courtesy of Amazon’s top-tier Renewed Premium program.

The official Renewed Premium listings at Amazon for Apple’s 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max are now live once again at$1,019 shipped on all four colors – that’s $580 off the original $1,599 list price and the unlocked price of the comparable 17 Pro.

We recently detailed the Amazon Renewed Premium program over at 9to5Mac. You can get more details on these listings there, but the short-form takeaway here is you’ll want to stick with the listings sold and shipped directly from Amazon (not just those that say Renewed Premium in the product name) – this will be your best option and the one with the return guarantee and 1-year warranty.
