If Spotify is down for you this morning, you’re not alone. The streaming music service has a bit of the Monday blues. Spotify has confirmed that it is aware of problem affecting the service today and is investigating.
Spotify is down
Reports aggregated by Downdetector show a major spike in Spotify complaints shortly after 9am ET/6am PT on Monday. Users say they are unable to load Spotify, browse their library, play music and podcasts, and more. The outage appears to be widespread, though not everyone is affected.
Spotify hasn’t shared any details on when it expects the outage to be fixed. “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out,” Spotify says.
If you can’t wait for Spotify to come back online, Apple Music is online. You can sign up for $10.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. After all, who really wants to spend a Monday morning alone with their thoughts?
