Apple releases public beta 1 for iPadOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, more

Earlier this week Apple debuted the first developer betas for iPadOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and more. Now today, the first public beta releases are rolling out too.

New 26.3 software updates available for public beta testers

Apple’s latest major software updates shipped to all users last week, including iOS 26.2, iPadOS 26.2, macOS Tahoe 26.2, and more.

But if you want advance access to future releases, Apple has a public beta program that offers exactly that.

Available at beta.apple.com, the beta software program lets you install pre-release versions of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV software on your devices.

There’s always a risk that pre-release software may include additional bugs and performance issues not found in the publicly shipping versions. So proceed at your own risk.

But if you’re part of Apple’s public beta program, today the company is rolling out new public betas for its various platforms.

iPadOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and more are rolling out now.

These releases are the same exact software builds that debuted previously for developers. As such, we already know that they’re light on new features and changes.

iOS 26.3 includes a few updates, but anything new across Apple’s other platforms has been hard to find so far. The most noteworthy change is the iPad gaining a new dedicated section for Weather-themed wallpapers.

As such, if you’re interested in joining Apple’s public beta program, you may want to wait for a future release when there are noteworthy new features to be gained.

Have you installed the public beta for iPadOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, or another update? Let us know of any changes you find via the comments.
