Apple world’s most valuable brand, per Brand Finance’s Global 500 2026 list

For the third year running, Apple has secured the top of Brand Finance’s Global 500 ranking, with an estimated brand value of $607 billion. Here are the details.

Apple sees a 6% brand value growth in 2026

Since 2007, Brand Finance has been mapping out the world’s most valuable brands, as well as their respective brand ratings.

At the time, when the ranking was called Global 250, Coca-Cola was the world’s most valuable brand at $43 billion, followed by Microsoft, Citi, and Walmart.

Apple ranked 43rd, with an estimated brand value of $12 billion and an AAA+ brand rating, below most tech companies and slightly above News Corp.

Over the years, the tech sector has come to dominate the rankings. This year, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, NVIDIA, and TikTok/Douyin secured the top seven spots with a combined brand value of about $2.31 trillion, a 15.8% year-over-year increase.

Moreover, while the top four positions remained unchanged, NVIDIA climbed to fifth place, posting a 109% surge in brand value.

Back to Apple, the company remained in first place with an estimated brand value of $607 billion, up from $574 billion last year, and maintained an AAA brand rating.

Here’s Brand Finance on Apple’s brand performance:

Apple retains its position as the world’s most valuable brand with a 6% brand value growth to USD607.6 billion. While hardware growth remains measured, Apple continues to strengthen its ecosystem through services. Growth in advertising, cloud services and the App Store has supported overall performance, while steady demand across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific has reinforced Apple’s global scale and resilience.
