Deals: 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max $650 off orig. price, 16-inch MacBook Pro up to $440 off, iPad keyboard, Ocean Band, more

Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is ready to roll starting with a chance to land an unlocked 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max courtesy of Amazon at $650 off the price of the comparable iPhone 17 Pro Max (and $320 under Apple refurb store). We also have all AirPods Max (USB-C) colors at $100 off, a chance to score a 24GB M4 Pro MacBook Pro at $440 off the list price, a sizable 57% price drop on ZAGG’s Pro Keys 2 for M4/M5 iPad Pro at $65, the best price of the year on Apple’s Neon Ocean Band with Black Titanium finish, and much more below.

Land a 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max at $650 less than 17 Pro Max ($320 under Apple refurb store)

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max have long been out in the wild now, but if you’re looking to land a high-capacity unlocked iPhone in the early parts of 2026 the latest models are going to cost you. The 1TB iPhone 17 Pro Max, for example, carries a $1,599 list price and the 1TB iPhone 16 Pro Max sells for $1,269 in the official Apple Refurbished Store, but Amazon will sell you a 1TB 16 Pro Max for $949 shipped right now – that’s $650 off the original list price.

Amazon is now offering Premium Renewed iPhone 16 Pro Max units with a 1TB storage capacity down at $949 shipped right now. Originally $1,599 at launch, which is the same price a 1TB 17 Pro Max carries, you’re looking at a price at $650 off the original price.

As mentioned above Apple also sells 1TB 16 Pro Max models in its official online refurbished store. This would naturally be the first and best place to score a deal on an unlocked series 16 iPhone, but you are going to be paying all whole lot more there than at Amazon right now – exactly $320 more.

Now clearly, going direct to Apple should be the most reliable source here, and it likely is, but Amazon’s Premium Renewed units have proven to be the next best thing if you ask me and at a much lower price point. They also ship with a 365-day refund/replacement option:

This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 365 days of receipt.

Major $250 discount delivers Amazon low pricing on this 512GB 13-inch M3 iPad Air today, more from $489

Apple’s Neon Ocean Band with Black Titanium finish hits best price of the year at nearly 30% off

All AirPods Max (USB-C) colors are $100 off at Amazon today

Amazon is once again offering all five colors of the latest USB-C equipped Apple AirPods Max at $100 off the list price. We have been seeing this deal coming and going over the last few weeks, but pricing seems to have stabled with all options now sitting down at $100 off. Details below.

Amazon is now offering AirPods Max (USB-C) down at $449 shipped. Regularly $549, this is up to $100 off with deals at the ready on all five models: Midnight, Blue, Orange, Starlight, and Purple.

We have seen a few chances to score Apple’s flagship (only) over-ear headphones at $170 off this year, but they were short-lived offers mostly only on select colors. If you happen to have missed out on the holiday and Black Friday offers last year, today’s deal is a notable option for folks looking to land a set in the early part of the year.

You’re looking at the latest model AirPods Max Apple updated with a USB-C charging port from the old Lightning standard alongside the five new paint jobs. They are, for some, overpriced, and understandably so, but even as someone who can seriously appreciate the direct competition from brands like Sony and Bose, they still remain one of the highest-end and most well-made over-ears in the price segment when they are on sale like this, if you ask me.

Here’s a chance to score a 24GB M4 Pro MacBook Pro at $440 off the list price

Apple’s all-new M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro models are all but imminent at this point, and Apple just announced the spring reveals will begin starting next week. But for those not looking to spend the premium on the new M5 Pro machine, Apple’s still current-generation M4 Pro is a wonderfully powerful machine, and will continue to be into the future if you ask me – Best Buy is offering folks a chance to land one at $440 off the list price right now too.

But over at Best Buy, you’ll find “excellent” condition open-box units sitting down at $2,058.99 shipped. That’s $440 under the list price from Apple, $260 under the sale price at Amazon in new condition, and the best we can find on one in this sort of condition with a 1-year Apple warranty.

There regularly $2,499 M4 Pro MacBook Pro with the 16-inch display, 24GB of RAM, and the 512GB SSD is currently selling for $2,319 at Amazon right now in brand new condition. For the record, B&H is charging the same price for this configuration right now.

These Apple Watch Series 11 models are still down at the best prices ever, deals from $299

While we are still tracking a chance to score the 46mm Jet Black Apple Watch Series 11 down at its lowest price ($100 off), we also wanted to highlight the opportunity you still have to score the 42mm Rose Gold Apple Watch Series 11 down at $299 shipped.

Regularly $399, this is one is also matching the lowest price we have tracked since its release in September. Apple’s latest and greatest Series wearable with the muted, matte rose gold treatment is still currently sitting down at $299 shipped on Amazon, delivering $100 in savings and a great chance to score one at the top of the year.

This deal, as mentioned above, also joins the ongoing price drop on the 46mm Jet Black variant at $329 shipped, which is also $100 off the list price and matching the lowest it has been offered for since release.

These two configurations remain the only options we can find online in brand new condition from a reputable dealer to score the latest Series 11 wearable at $100 off. These deals are undercutting the official 2025 Black Friday prices and on par with the deals we featured in the lead up to Christmas last year.

At this point we are surprised they are indeed still live at all. Chances are both of these deals will be gone at any time now and if you’re looking to strap the latest Series 11 on at a discount, it might be sometime before we see the $100 discount land across the entire lineup again.

Giant price drop knocks 57% off ZAGG’s Pro Keys 2 for M4/M5 iPad Pro at $65 (Reg. $150)

It’s back folks. The giant price drop on the ZAGG Pro Keys 2 for your M4 or M5 iPad Pro has returned, knocking a sizable 57% off the list price to land down at $65 shipped – hundreds less than an Apple Magic Keyboard.

Amazon is now once again giving folks a chance to land the ZAGG Pro Keys 2 for 13-inch M5/M4 iPad Pro models down at $64.99 shipped

This model carries a $150 list price, which is in and around the usual price range for these sorts of iPad Pro keyboards from trusted and well-known Apple accessory brands. It also happens to be a whole heck of a lot less than the regularly $349 list price the official Magic Keyboard carries.

Today’s deal lands on par with the lowest price we have tracked for this keyboard case from ZAGG – it dropped to this price back at the top of the month for a short while before shooting back up to the full list.

It’s certainly no Magic Keyboard, but it is also $284 less and delivers some notable specs and features at a price like this. Alongside the polycarbonate case with corner bumpers and “6.6-foot drop protection,” it sports a magnetic folio design to offer a pair of “viewing angles for typing, browsing, or streaming.”

It carries what ZAGG refers to as a “laptop-style” keyboard that includes seven color backlighting and an integrated holder that “keeps your Apple Pencil or Pro Stylus secure.” The 1-year battery life and the expected sleep/wake function also joins Bluetooth multi-device pairing here as well.

Official Apple Crossbody Strap colors drop even lower to new Amazon lows from $24 (Up to 60% off)

This week has been ushering in some new all-time low pricing on the official Apple Crossbody Strap at Amazon. Earlier this week we spotted the Light Gray model falling down under $24 Prime shipped and today we spotted a bunch of other colors at the lowest prices they have been offered since release last September.

While the aforementioned Light Gray has since jumped jump in price a touch, it is still within roughly $0.50 of the best price it has been offered for at $23.99 with free shipping for Prime members or in orders over $35.

That said, there are some others, including the Neon Yellow, Orange, Purple, and Tan, that have hit the lowest prices we have tracked anywhere:

There are plenty of options like this from other brands, but with pricing coming down so low on the Apple models, anyone looking towards the first-party treatment will be seeing awfully competitive prices here (at least by Apple standards). You’re looking at as much as 60% off the regular $59 list price on the new Apple Crossbody solution.
