Apple releases new Polishing Cloth for $9

Not to be overshadowed by the new Mac mini and Mac Studio, Apple today has also released an updated version of its Polishing Cloth. In an age of everything getting more expensive, the new Polishing Cloth is cheaper than before at $9 (down from $19). It’s also available on Amazon

There’s no word on what has changed with this new Polishing Cloth. Apple’s description for the new version is the same as before:

Made with soft, nonabrasive material, the Polishing Cloth cleans any Apple display, including nano-texture, safely and effectively.

I don't understand WHY people think that the Apple cloth is expensive when they are probably using it on their 3K MacBook Pro's and 1K+ iPhones.

It's actually a fantastic quality and quite different in its material approach. I use it to wipe my OLED TV screen once a week and iPhone/Mac. If the MacBook screen is dirty from the keyboard pressing on the screen, then I use a microfibre cloth (MucOff) with a tiny damping of water on a part of it.

It's a once in a lifetime purchase so worth it! (The MucOff bike microfibres cloth takes a lot of beating for everything else!!!!!!)

Apple released the Polishing Cloth in October 2021 and sold out almost instantly. While it has become a meme, it is genuinely a good polishing cloth for your Apple gear.

You can order the “new” Polishing Cloth from Apple’s website today for $9. I’m only half-joking when I say to order quickly because it might sell out.

And if you want to secure a piece of Apple history, the original Polishing Cloth is still available on Amazon for $19.
