Meta AI launches Muse personal agent, including a new mobile app for iPhone

Meta AI just launched a brand-new iPhone app called Muse from Meta. Similar to Grok Bot in presentation, Muse is a personal AI agent that handles tasks for you.

It follows the recent trend of AI companies creating personified characters to make AI agents more relatable and friendly, mimicking chat interfaces.

Muse is also available on the Mac through the web at muse.ai. The system lets you customize the agent name and avatar to personalize the experience.

Unlike other systems, Muse is free upfront with weekly limitations. Paying customers can unlock higher access.

You can learn more about the new Muse agent design here and security here. Muse is available for iPhone through the App Store.

The app is only available in the US for now, with more countries being added over time.

Last month, Meta AI also launched a more capable desktop app on the Mac.

Muse arrives the same month as Siri AI, which seems Apple upgrade its voice assistant for the chatbot era. While Siri AI is capable of taking some actions, it’s not a full blown agentic system yet like we’re seeing from OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceXAI, and Meta AI.
