AT&T launches new all-in-one plan for wireless and home internet

AT&T has announced a new ‘OneConnect’ plan today that combines wireless service across your various devices plus home internet. Here are the details.

AT&T’s new ‘OneConnect’ plan offers one subscription for ‘unlimited connectivity

In a world with increasing numbers of subscriptions, AT&T has announced a new plan that aims to actually reduce the amount of services you’re juggling.

AT&T OneConnect simplifies your internet setup by offering “one subscription, one flat monthly price, and coverage for your wireless and home internet across your devices.”

Here’s the pricing:

From the press release:

  • First and only: AT&T is the first and only connectivity provider to combine fast, reliable home internet and wireless together across as many devices as needed, with one simple subscription and one all-in price.
  • Fast and simple: In under 5 minutes, new consumers can sign up for AT&T wireless + 1 Gig fiber – simplifying the entire purchase experience.
  • Connected to everything: AT&T OneConnect runs on America’s largest wireless and fiber networks, and America’s best and fastest home internet. Combined, it delivers the simple experience customers deserve and defines connectivity of the future.

The simple flat pricing and opportunity to have a single bill for all internet-related needs makes OneConnect a unique addition to the market. And though not every wireless carrier can offer home internet too, I hope that OneConnect starts a trend of other providers offering similarly streamlined plans and pricing.
