Deals: 24GB M5 MacBook Air all-time low $150 off, 16-inch M5 Pro MacBook $199 off, black Apple USB-C cables, more

Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is headlined by the Midnight 24GB M5 MacBook Air with 1TB storage hitting the Amazon low at $150 off alongside an ongoing deal on the entry model at the $949 low. We also have Apple’s new 2026 model 16-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro back to its best price to date at up to $199 off joining the Apple Watch Ultra 3 price drops. On top of that, we are getting another shot at the rare deals on official black Apple USB-C cables from just over $7. Head below for a closer look at everything.

Midnight 24GB M5 MacBook Air with 1TB storage hits Amazon low at $150 off, more

If you’re looking to buy Apple’s latest M5 MacBook Air in the early part of the year, there has never been a better time than now. The entry and most affordable 16GB models are now sitting at all-time lows from $949 and we are also now tracking several of the 24GB/1TB models dropping a touch lower with $150 in savings for folks who need more power/storage.

Amazon is now offering its best price to date on the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and the 1TB of storage at $1,349 shipped. Regularly $1,499, this is a straight up $150 in savings on the Midnight and Sky Blue models, while the Silver and Starlight variants are at $149 off.

The $150 price drop also extends to the 15-inch M5 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM as well:

We had been tracking $50 launch deals across the lineup, including these 24GB machines since early March shortly after release, but Amazon has now gotten particularly aggressive with pricing across the lineup. As of this week, we are also seeing $150 price drops on the least pricey machines and the mid-range 16GB/1TB variants as well:

You can land MacBook Neo for less, but that is, as far as I’m concerned, still very much an entry-level machine. A really, really great one for folks who definitely don’t need much horsepower – the 8GB of RAM just didn’t cut it anymore on previous-gen machines for me, and I can’t imagine it will in 2026 – but the MacBook Air remains the best value in the lineup if you’re not running power hungry video editing apps and the like.

Apple’s most affordable new Midnight M5 MacBook Air just dropped to all-time low at $949 ($150 off)

Apple’s new 2026 model 16-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro returns to all-time lows at up to $199 off

Alongside the new all-time lows on the M5 MacBook Air lineup at $150 off with deals from $949, Amazon is also delivering big-time cash deals on the 2026 M5 MacBook Pro lineup. We have already detailed the ongoing 14-inch discounts at $150 off, but those of you looking for more Liquid Retina XDR display real estate, the 16-inch models are now up to $199 off at Amazon.

The deal pricing on the 14-inch M5 Pro models lands as follows right now:

But again, we are also tracking deals on the larger 16-inch models right now with up to $199 off the list prices they launched at last month. Amazon carries two different 16-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro configurations including the 24GB/2TB and 48GB/1TB setups, both with the 20-core GPU:

The 24GB/2TB has been sitting at this price since the Amazon Big Spring Sale went live, but the 48GB/1TB at $199 off jumped back up in price earlier this month and has now returned to its Amazon all-time low pricing in both the Space Black and Silver variants.

Rare deals live again on official black Apple USB-C cables from just over $7

We are tracking another rare chance to land some official black Apple Woven USB-C cables today. There are some discounts on the classic white models, but these black variants are hard to come by at all, never mind on sale, and now you can land them at $10 a pop, or as low as $7.33 each in multi-packs. Details below.

Apple black 60W USB-C Woven Charging Cable

Woot is now once again offering some deals on official black Apple USB-C cables. These are the 1-meter 60W models you can’t even buy on their own straight from Apple. Shipping is free for Prime members (you’ll get hit with a $6 delivery fee otherwise) and everything is, according to Woot, brand new, but shipping in a “polybag and plain brown box.”

Woot says “these are excess units and Apple decided to liquidate them to wholesale instead of packaging them for Retail sale.”

Amazon delivers rare Apple Watch Ultra 3 price drops today at nearly $100 off (Matching all-time low)

Amazon is now offering some of the best prices ever on various Apple Watch Ultra 3 configurations at nearly $100 off in brand new condition. Deals on the latest Ultra 3 have been hard to come by since release in September, but there are now several configurations at the lowest price we have tracked to date on Amazon as of this morning.

Amazon is now offering both Black and Natural Apple Watch Ultra 3 models starting from $699.99 shipped. That’s nearly $100 off the regular $799 list price and the best we can find in brand new condition.

The list above, by and large rep[resents the configurations seeing the notable price drops. Just be sure to head over to the listing page to browse through – the band size option selections are a great to quickly see which models are at $99 off today.

On most of the band options here, this is the first time we have tracked a notable discount since the holiday season last year and the only other time we have seen solid discounts on any of Apple’s latest pro-grade flagship wearable.
