Apple TV’s acclaimed London crime thriller is back with new season

Apple TV’s acclaimed crime thriller Criminal Record is officially back for season 2, with a London bomb plot at the center of the new arc. Here are the details.

Criminal Record season 2 available now on Apple TV

One of Apple TV’s most beloved series, Slow Horses, offers espionage and gripping character drama in a London setting.

Criminal Record is another London-based crime thriller from Apple anchored by strong performances from Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, and it just debuted a new season.

Early reviews are strong. And because the series has a whole new crime arc in season 2, you don’t necessarily need to have watched the first season to jump in—though it’s recommended.

Criminal Record’s first season was widely acclaimed, centering on two London detectives who are at odds in myriad ways, but ultimately forced to work together.

Here’s the trailer for the new season:

The first episode of Criminal Record season 2 is available now, and every Wednesday a new episode will arrive through June 10.
