Perplexity just gave its Comet AI browser an upgrade for iPad users with these features

Perplexity has been early to the AI-browsing space with its Comet web browser. Today’s Comet update includes some welcome features for iPad users.

Comet now supports iPadOS multitasking features

Comet combines the web browser experience with an AI chatbot, and Perplexity works with AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and more.

Perplexity brought Comet to iPhone back in March after first launching the AI-powered web browser on the Mac.

While Comet included basic iPad support to start, today’s update introduces proper iPadOS support with features like having multiple browser windows and better multitasking.

iPad users can update to the latest version of Comet on the App Store to unlock these new features.

Separately, Perplexity also launched its agentic assistant feature called Personal Computer on the Mac this month.
