OpenAI investigating ‘elevated latency’ issue affecting ChatGPT [U]

Does ChatGPT seem slower than usual for you today? You’re not alone.

OpenAI says it’s currently investigating an issue around “elevated latency” that’s current impacting ChatGPT and its API.

A separate issue is being monitored for FedRAMP users, though a fix has been applied.

Here’s the system status as of 8:15 am PT.

Update: As of 9:15 am PT, ChatGPT’s issue is reportedly resolved, but the API slowdown is still occurring. OpenAI also removed the FedRAMP issue from the status page.

Update #2: As of 10:31 am PT, the issue appears to be resolved.
