Everything new in iOS 27.2 beta 1 so far

Apple has released the first developer beta of iOS 27.2, beginning the next round of iPhone software testing. Here’s what’s new in the update.

iOS 27.2 beta 1 is available now for developer beta testers.

You can install the update by opening the Settings app, choosing General, then Software Update. From there, select iOS 27 Developer Beta under Beta Updates.

iOS 27.2 beta 1: What’s new?

Here are some changes we’ve found in iOS 27.2 beta 1 so far.

  • Apple’s redesigned Health app first announced during the iPhone 18 Pro event is now live in this beta.
  • Dual capture mode comes to Group FaceTime.
  • Siri AI language support now includes French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  • Apple TV app profiles come to iPhone.
  • Up Next is now New Episodes in Apple Podcasts. Continue Playing section is now directly below New Episodes. Podcasts also have color-matched backgrounds on episode lists.
  • Apple Music uses less of the icon’s color for labels in the app now.
